Young softball enthusiasts will have the opportunity to develop their skills and train alongside the Henryetta Lady Knights during the upcoming Henryetta Softball “Littles” Camp, set for Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Henryetta Softball Field.
Organized by Coach Dre and the Lady Knights softball team, the camp is designed for girls from kindergarten through 5th grade from any town. The event will provide fundamental instruction, covering key aspects of the game, including fielding, hitting, speed and agility.
Campers will begin their day with registration from 9:15-9:45 a.m., followed by a team warmup and short speed and agility session. Afterward, players will break into groups for an infield and outfield fielding session before enjoying a short snack break. The latter half of the camp will focus on hitting drills, both indoors and outdoors, before wrapping up with a friendly competition among campers.
Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt, a snack and a drink, along with hands-on coaching from the Lady Knights softball staff and players.
--- How to Sign Up
The camp is limited to the first 40 participants, so early registration is strongly encouraged. The cost to attend is $45 per camper, and pre-registration is required to ensure T-shirts can be ordered.
To reserve a spot, parents or guardians should contact Coach Dre at 918-650-8853.
For young athletes looking to sharpen their skills and gain valuable experience, this event promises a day of fun, learning and competitive play with the Henryetta Lady Knights.
