Knights dominate Tulsa Dove
By PATRICK FORD NEWS EDITOR,

A stellar performance by Skylar Greenhaw propelled the Henryetta Knights to an overwhelming 84-22 victory over the Tulsa Dove Raptors on Tuesday night in Henryetta. Greenhaw led the charge with an impressive 28 points, showcasing skill and consistency as the Knights cruised to victory.

From the opening whistle, the Knights seized control, never allowing the Raptors to gain any momentum. Henryetta’s relentless offense and stifling defense set the tone, with the team pulling away for good in a dominant second quarter. Leading 18-9 after the first quarter, the Knights exploded for an 18-point run that left the Raptors reeling. By halftime, Henryetta had built an insurmountable 49-14 lead, with Greenhaw scoring 15 of his 28 points in the second quarter alone. The Knights outscored the Raptors 31-5 in that period, effectively sealing the game. The Knights shot efficiently inside the arc, go- ing 31-for-61 on two-point attempts, and showed their range with a solid 4-of-11 performance from three-point territory. Their balanced scoring attack saw contributions from nearly the entire roster.

Scoring Breakdown for Henryetta Knights:

• Skylar Greenhaw: 28 pts.

• James Joslin: 12 pts.

• Gavin Williams: 11 pts.

• Nakona Johnson: 7 pts.

• Zadan Montgomery: 6 pts.

• Bishop Berryhill: 4 pts.

• Isaac Whitlock: 4 pts.

• Kashton Montgomery: 3 pts.

• Maverix Randleman: 3 pts.

• Talon Weaver: 2 pts.

• Blaze Hill: 2 pts.

• Ethan Gold: 2 pts. The Knights’ defense was equally impressive, holding the Raptors to just 22 points for the game. With this victory, Henryetta continues to build momentum, showcasing their potential for a strong season ahead.

Henryetta squads will resume play after the return from Christmas break in Jan. 2025.
