The Mojo Grappling Academy, a premier wrestling academy serving Wilson and Henryetta, is currently accepting sign-ups for its folkstyle wrestling season. Families can register their young wrestlers at any practice session or by filling out an online form. The sign-up deadline is the end of October, so now is the perfect time to get involved.
Mojo Grappling Academy, established in 2015, has become a powerhouse in the local wrestling community, providing youth athletes with top-tier training and opportunities to compete. In the past three years alone, the academy has produced an impressive nine State Champions, eight State Runners-Up, and two National Champions. Four of their athletes have been ranked in the top three of the WOW Youth National Rankings, and dozens more have placed at national competitions. As a team, Mojo has claimed four OKWA Regional Championships and earned two Runner-Up awards. Coach Tecumseh, a cornerstone of the academy’s success, was named the OKWA NW Regional Coach of the Year in 2022.

• Oct. 18 - 5:30 p.m.
• Oct. 20 - 3:15 p.m.
• Oct. 22 - 5:45 p.m. at Old Wilson Gym
• Oct. 23 - 5:30 p.m.
• Oct. 28 - 5:45 p.m. at Old Wilson Gym
• Oct. 30 - 5:30 p.m. - Practices are held three to four times per week during the folkstyle season, which runs from October to February. Mojo offers programs for three skill levels: Little Warriors (ages 4-7), Novice/Beginner (ages 7-11) and Advanced (ages 7 through high school senior).
The cost is either a $40 monthly fee or one-time payment of $175 to cover the entire season. Sibling discounts are available to help families with multiple young wrestlers.
No tribal or school affiliation is required to participate. The first practice is always free, giving families the chance to try out the program before committing.
