This Saturday, the Henryetta Lions will be kicking off their holiday fundraising season at Nichols Park.
From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Lions will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Ruger .243 (valued at over $500). In partnership with Native Arms & Trading Company, the Henryetta Lions are looking forward to helping even more families in our community with the proceeds from this fundraiser.
Tickets will be sold by Henryetta Lions Club members until Dec. 4, and a winner will be drawn on Dec. 5 during the opening night of the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce’s new event, Mistletoe Market - just in time for Christmas.
Tickets will be $10 each or three for $20.
Contact a Henryetta Lion or message them on their Facebook page for tickets.
American Exchange Bank welcomes the public to attend the Fall Festival and BBQ Competition at Nichols Park this Saturday. This year’s event promises a smokin’ good time with the Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned Backyard BBQ Competition and a range of family-friendly activities. The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Car enthusiasts can admire classic and custom rides at the Car Show, where the coolest cars will compete for coveted trophies including People’s Choice. Admission to the Car Show is free, making it a must-see for visitors of all ages.
The event is raising proceeds benefiting the Nichols Park Restoration Committee. Several local organizations, including the Henryetta Lions Club and Henryetta Rotary Club, along with the HHS Knight Brigade will be in attendance as they raise funds for their projects.
For those wishing to try out the BBQ, taster kits will be available for $10.
