The Wilson Lady Tigers softball team recently secured key wins over Mason and Graham before falling short to Gore Lady Pirates in a hardfought contest. — Wilson 9, Mason 4 The Lady Tigers opened the week with a 9-4 victory over Mason, powered by a strong offensive showing and solid pitching. Wilson wasted no time getting on the board in the top of the first inning with Jaslene Proctor’s RBI single. Jamie Proctor extended the lead with an inside-thepark home run in the second inning, giving Wilson early momentum.
Mason fought back to tie the game in the third inning, but Wilson surged ahead in the fourth after doubles by Macy Dobson and Kaylee Earhart, capitalizing on a Mason error to take a 6-4 lead. Jaslene Proctor delivered the final blow in the sixth with a two-run homer to left field.
Janelle Proctor earned the win for Wilson, pitching six and two-thirds innings while striking out seven. The Lady Tigers’ bats were on fire, racking up 15 hits, with standout performances from Jaslene, Jamie, and Janelle Proctor, who combined for eight hits and five RBIs.

The Lady Tigers’ offense exploded in a 12-0 rout of Graham, highlighted by a nine-run first inning that effectively sealed the game early. Macy Dobson and Kaozong Yang both hit inside-the-park home runs, driving in two runs each, while Graham’s defense struggled with errors that allowed Wilson to capitalize.
Wilson added three more runs in the second inning, extending their lead and cruising to the win. Jaslene Proctor was stellar on the mound, allowing just one hit and no runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five.
Wilson’s lineup showed patience at the plate, drawing 10 walks. Their aggressive baserunning also played a role, with seven stolen bases, led by Peyton Lollis and Janelle Proctor.

Despite the loss, Wilson’s performance showed determination, and they remain focused on bouncing back in their next game.
The Lady Tigers are currently competing in the Mounds Tournament along with Dewar, Mounds, Beggs, Inola, Kellyville, Liberty and Preston. Games will resume on Saturday, with times set at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with the championship match at 7 p.m.
