Green Country Technology Center (GCTC) is excited to announce that applications are now open for the January 2025 cohort of its highly regarded Practical Nursing (PN) program.
With a focus on preparing students for advanced medical programs, the NCLEX-PN licensure, and immediate employment, GCTC’s PN program is ideal for aspiring nurses.
The application deadline is October 1, 2024.
Mrs. Ana Richardson, one of the program’s dedicated instructors, is eager to welcome the new year with a fresh group of prospective LPNs. “There’s nothing like the start of a new cohort. The excitement, the ambition and the drive our students bring are what make this program so rewarding,” Richardson said.

--- Entrance Requirements
• Completion of prerequisite courses offered at GCTC, including Core Medical Terminology (45 hours) and Long Term Care Nurse Aide (75 hours).
• Open enrollment for adult applicants only; applicants must complete a GCTC application, participate in a personal interview, and meet entrance exam scoring standards.
• Additional requirements include immunizations, a criminal background check, and a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure enrollment.

Graduates earn their Licensed Practical Nurse certification. The program is accredited by The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education and has full approval from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Financial aid and scholarships are available for qualifying students, with additional VA educational benefits for eligible candidates. GCTC does not offer student loans, enabling students to graduate debt-free.
