The Dewar Lady Dragons soared past the Meeker Lady Bulldogs with a resounding 16-1 victory on Monday afternoon. Temperance Parker led the charge for Dewar, smashing two home runs and driving in a total of four runs throughout the game.

The Lady Dragons wasted no time asserting their dominance, exploding for 11 runs in a commanding first inning. Parker ignited the offensive barrage with a solo home run early on, followed by a string of scoring plays that included inside-the-park homers from Alyssa Baughman and Parker herself. The team continued to pour it on in the second inning, adding five more runs to seal their decisive win.

Onthemound,BrookeThomas delivered a stellar performance for Dewar, limiting Meeker to just one hit and zero runs over two innings while striking out four batters. In contrast, Meeker’s Macy Jones struggled against Dewar’s relentless hitting, conceding 16 runs, albeit only two earned, on 12 hits over two innings.

Dewar’s offensive efforts were bolstered by multiple players contributing at the plate. Emmy Hall, Temperance Parker, Bre Harvell and Kyla Bear each collected two hits. Following their commanding victory over Meeker, the Dewar Lady Dragons continued their winning streak by dispatching Wilson with a convincing 9-3 triumph on Tuesday.

Emmy Hall set the tone early for Dewar in the first inning, driving in a run with a solid single. Despite Wilson briefly tying the game in the third inning, Dewar quickly regained control, spurred by key hits from Temperance Parker and Brooke Thomas that propelled them to a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Temperance Parker took charge on the mound for Dewar, delivering a standout performance by surrendering just three hits and one unearned run over five innings. She also showcased her prowess at the plate and on the base paths, stealing three bases to further assert Dewar’s dominance.

Brooke Thomas and Jaycie Berry provided crucial offensive support for Dewar, each contributing two RBIs, while Emmy Hall continued her solid performance with two hits in three atbats.

Despite efforts from Wilson’s Macy Dobson, who led her team with one RBI, Dewar’s relentless offensive and defensive efforts proved too much for their opponents to handle. The Dewar Lady Dragons season record remains perfect at 17-0.
