Elizabeth Ann Cooper

Elizabeth Ann Cooper, beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79. Born on January 22, 1945, in Henryetta to John Eurtis Snow and Marie (Palmer) Snow, Elizabeth lived a life filled with love, compassion and creativity.

In her early years, Elizabeth met the love of her life, Harold Cooper, and the two were married on March 18, 1961, in Stigler. Their union was one of unwavering devotion and partnership for 63 years, marked by a deep connection that carried them through life’s many adventures.

Elizabeth was a true caregiver at heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her warmth and generosity of spirit touched everyone who knew her. A talented cook, she took pride in creating meals that brought people together, always striving to be the best she could be in everything she did. Her artistic talent was another of her many gifts, allowing her to recreate beautiful pieces from images and even create a few originals of her own. Several watercolor paintings received first place ribbons at Tulsa State Fair.

As a dedicated member of the Sapulpa Nazarene Church, Elizabeth found joy in her faith and her community. Her life was enriched by the opportunity to travel, thanks to Harold’s career as an engineer. Together, they explored many countries and lived in various places, broadening their horizons and deepening their bond across those 63 years.

While Elizabeth held several jobs throughout her life, her most cherished role was that of a mother. She devoted herself to raising her three sons, Wayne, Dan and Jim, nurturing them with love and wisdom.
