OSUIT, Muscogee Nation celebrate GED graduates

The community recently celebrated the most class of graduates during the GED Graduation Ceremony held July 11 on the campus of OSUIT.

The program, sponsored by Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology and Muscogee Nation Employment & Training Adult Learning Programs, provides a second chance for adults looking to obtain their degrees, and helping them join the workforce.

Special guest speaker at this year’s event was State Rep. Scott Fetgatter. Joining him were Anna Dinsmore-Hearn, OSUIT Director of Workforce & Economic Development; Pete Coser, Jr., director of The Scholarship Foundation, MN; and Dr. Randy Wymore, OSUIT Provost of Academic Affairs. Jan Colombin welcomed and introduced the guest speakers, along with presenting the graduates, who were introduced by Edmond Quillin.
