Henryetta Public Schools recently welcomed new Superintendent Jason Price, and Okemah graduate with over 25 years experience in higher education. Price released the following statement:

Henryetta,

I am excited to begin my tenure as the superintendent of Henryetta Public Schools. Henryetta has always been a place I have thought highly of, with many fond memories of the community and school district, along with a long list of familiar faces I have enjoyed staying connected to. Henryetta is in an outstanding, centralized location with a progressive business community and possesses a mindset of forward thinkers. These active elements produce an outstanding structure for future progress. As for Henryetta Public Schools, I look forward to team collaboration as we connect together to continually support the betterment of our most important asset, our students. We all play an important part in helping achieve high standards and reaching new goals to gain further success. I am grateful and appreciate the supportive business owners, community members, parents, staff, board members, and a correlation of many others to work alongside of to achieve consistent standards of excellence. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to partner with you individually, this outstanding community, and school district as we work together for a positive future.
