Several new home sites are under construction in Henryetta. One of the projects is on the end of Warden Camp Road that the Muscogee Nation is building. Seven homes are currently in the process of being completed. Another project is kicking off. There are another 8-10 homes also being built on Warden Camp Road between Tutt and Maxine. The homes are 1,509 sq. ft. with a kitchen stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, quartz countertops and open dining area. The living room will have a cathedral ceiling. Also, Henryetta Economic Development Authority’s recommendations for a new roof at the Nichols Park Bath House and the installation of 16 brand new campsites were approved by the City Council during Tuesday’s meeting. And yesterday, visitors to Nichols Park will have a rejuvenated sandy beach to stretch out on after city crews were slated to put several loads of sand on the beach as well as the volleyball courts just in time for the summer fun to start.
