The Henryetta Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting for June 20, 2024, at 8 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Board of Education Office located at 1600 W. Gentry.

The agenda for the special meeting is as follows:

• Flag Salute

• Approval of Resolution for Updated Bank Signatures: A critical item on the agenda is the vote to approve or disapprove a resolution that will update the signatures at American Exchange Bank to include the new Superintendent, Mr. Jason Price, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

• Approval of Travel Reimbursement and Transitional Services Payment: The board will discuss and potentially approve the payment for travel reimbursement and transitional superintendent services rendered by Jason Price from Dec. 27, 2023, through June 30.

• Employment and Payment Approval for Federal Programs Training: Another important item for discussion is the potential approval of employment and payment to Stacy Been for Federal Programs training provided prior to July 1, 2024.

• Adjournment This special meeting is a crucial step in ensuring a smooth transition for the new superintendent and addressing key administrative needs before the new school year begins. Community members and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and stay informed about the decisions impacting Henryetta Public Schools.
