Esther 4:14 - “If you keep quiet at a time like this, help will come to the Jews in some other way and they will be saved, but you will die and your father’s family will come to an end. Yet, who knows? Maybe it was for a time like this that you were made queen!”
Esther 4:14 - “If you keep quiet at a time like this, help will come to the Jews in some other way and they will be saved, but you will die and your father’s family will come to an end. Yet, who knows? Maybe it was for a time like this that you were made queen!”
Remember Esther’s story? She was devout, beautiful, unassuming, and brought into a marriage with the pagan king of the world. Because of her deep faith, that union probably was very distasteful to her, but the uncle who had raised her mentioned the possibility of a plan known only to God.
I have a wonderful faith sister whose bywords are, “God has a plan.” This is truth. He does! And while we may not be privy to every facet of it, it is up to us to rely on His love, strength, and grace to see us through to the other side of it. We may not be in a position to save an entire race like Esther did, but God’s plans for us are just as wonderful (See Jeremiah 29:11-13). Our Father wants only the best for those who obey, the ones He calls His own. His desire is that we work for Him in bringing His word to others, that they also may enjoy His peace and abundance. Spreading the Lord’s love and forgiveness fulfills us as nothing else can. Even when we must step outside our comfort zone, we aren’t standing alone. He has promised to keep us sheltered in His arms so that we might arrive in His presence as a completely new being. He has a plan!
Keep studying those scriptures. Maintain that attitude of prayer. Allow God’s wisdom to guide your life so that His plan for you is fulfilled. Bring out your inner Esther!
