Henryetta Wrestling to hold skills camp

July 26-27 for ages 6-18

Henryetta Knights Wrestling Club will be hosting the 4th Annual Skills and Drills Youth Wrestling Camp July 26-27.

It will be held at the Henryetta High School Gym. Price is $60 with lunch included and is for ages 6-18 Oklahoma State Wrestling Standouts Reece Witcraft, Teague Travis and Jaxen Wright will be leading the camp and teaching some great techniques to help give each wrestler an edge over the competition.

2x Oklahoma HS State Champion; 2019-2020 only true freshmen starter and went 18-10 on the season, also placed at the Big 12 earning NCAA bid as No. 22; 2020-2021 ended season 8-4 overall and made the bump to 133 taking on a starter role for teammate Daxton Fix; 2021-2022 (Redshirt Year) went 5-2 on the year placing 1st at the Lindenwood Open; 2022-2023 finished season 20-12 while placing 3rd at the Big 12 and earning another NCAA bid as the No. 31 seed 2023-2024 Placed 1st at Lindenwood Open, also 1-1 in duals at 133.

• High School: Went 146-4 in his high school career. Was a four-time state champion in high school. 2021-22 (Redshirt Year): Compiled an 18-2 record as a true freshman.

• 2022-23: Compiled a 17-2 record with six falls and three major decisions.

• 2023-24: Compiled a 11-3 record in duals as a red shirt sophomore; finished 3rd at Lindenwood Open; finished 4th at the Big 12 and ultimately seeding him 16th at the NCAA Championships.

Morris High School: Finished his career with a record of 112-10. Named an All-American three times, Capped off his high school career with a 3A Oklahoma state championship at 165 pounds as a senior. Runner-up as a junior, third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman at the 3A Oklahoma State Tournament, respectively. 2023-24: Placed 2nd in the Freshmen/Sophomore Div. @ Lindenwood Open.
