Humane Society moves to temporary office

Humane Society moves to temporary office

Our last day in Okmulgee Animal Shelter was Friday, May 17. Our temporary office is located at 115 S. Muskogee Ave. in Okmulgee. You can reach us at 918-752-0674 for Community Medical Assistance, TNR and Low Cost Spay and Neuter as funds are available.

This is also the location and number to access pet food donations. OCHS will not have kennels until our new building is renovated.

If you need animal intake or if your pet is lost, please call Okmulgee Animal Control Department at 918-756-3511.

Do not delay calling Animal Control if your pet is lost, as they may only be held for 72-hours. We will continue to work closely with the City of Okmulgee in saving animals from the city shelter.

We are receiving assistance from rescues across the state and beyond as they have open kennels. We will continue to hold adoptions for the animals we have in foster homes and boarding through adoption events and individual Meet & Greets – such as Chance, Daisy, Gordy and Ellie Mae featured in this article.

Please continue to follow us on Facebook and visit our website at www.okmulgeehumane.org/ to see all our adoptable animals. We thank you for all your continued care, support and donations.
