The summer reading program begins with registration on May 28, and is open to boys and girls from 1st through 5th grade. 6th through 8th grade can also sign up to read all summer for prizes.
Each Monday in June, and the first and second Mondays in July, the children will meet at the library from 1:30-2:30 p.m. At that time, they will participate in reading as well as crafts and activities.
According to Joann Hott, Henryetta librarian, the program is free to all children.
