The stage is set for a weekend of intense baseball action as the Beggs Under Armour Classic Baseball Tournament kicked off yesterday. With a lineup of competitive matchups and stringent regulations in place, the tournament promises an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike.
In the opening round yesterday, the following games were scheduled:
• Beggs JV vs. Checotah
• Kellyville vs. Choteau
• Keys vs. Bristow
• Beggs vs. Morris Today, teams losing on Thursday will play at 12 noon and 3 p.m., while Thursday’s winning teams go head-to-head at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Saturday’s games will see the 5th/6th place showdown at 12 p.m., while the battle for 3rd/4th place will take place at 2 p.m. A climactic finale awaits on Saturday at 4 p.m. with the Championship and Runner-Up games, promising edge-of-the-seat action for spectators.
Spectators eager to witness the baseball spectacle can gain admission to the Golden Demon Ball Park for $5 per person.
As per the guidelines, the consumption of gum or sunflower seeds is strictly at the ballpark.
