James Ricky Cummings, a resident of Okay, passed this life on March 29, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born October 11, 1952, in Okmulgee, to James “Bob” Robert and Thelma Jo (Exum) Cummings. Ricky’s life work was a Funeral Director, serving many locations in the state of Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his parents; along with siblings Mike, Mark, Joe and Leslie. He is survived by his wife Terri Busse of the home; children: James Andrew Cummings of Eely, Nev.; Robert Ricky Cummings and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Amanda Wiesman and husband Chad of Bixby. Step-children: Roger Busse and wife Cheri of Ada, Toby Busse of Tulsa, and Tiffany Robertson and husband Sam of Henryetta. Grandchildren: Collin Cummings, Sabrina Cummings, Dylan Cummings, Kyleigh Wiesman, Katie Wiesman and Kyson Wiesman. Step-grandchildren: Kaylee Busse, Camden Berryhill, Kari Busse and Bishop Berryhill. Sister: Carolyn Traywick of Okmulgee.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2023, at Okmulgee Cemetery, with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Services are under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
