Early voting for eligible residents in Okmulgee County is underway at the courthouse and continues today until 6 p.m.
Dewar Public Schools district citizens will be voting on a proposed special bond issue.
Improvements totaling $320,000 will seek to:
• Renovate, repair and/or remodel district-wide to include, but not be limited to: acquire and install flooring and remodel restrooms - $165,000
• Acquire and install playground equipment - $155,000
• Total $320,000 The proposition contained in this resolution requires a three-fifths (60%) majority for its passage and approval.
