September 1, 1943 – February 25, 2024
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Kathleen Summers left this world on Sunday, February 25, 2024, peacefully in her sleep after a brief battle with colon and liver cancer. Taken far too soon, her zest for life and delightful sense of humor kept all in her presence, smiling and laughing.
She is survived by her two sisters, Yannah Yancey of Schulter, and Delores Corcoran of Jamestown, Calif.; her son, John Summers and his wife Cindy of Okmulgee; her daughter, Lisa Mildon and her husband, Ian of Graham, N.C.; grandsons, Nathan Quinton, Joshua Quinton, granddaughter, Hannah Summers, and great-grandchildren, Cloe, Kylen, and Hayden.
Service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Schulter Methodist Church, with Michael Yates officiating. Interment took place at 2 p.m. at Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
