FFFCU, AARP provide free tax prep

Henryetta First Family Federal Credit Union and AARP teamed up again for the fifth year, providing free tax prep for the citizens of Henryetta and surrounding areas. It’s not just for the members, anyone from the community can benefit from this service. With a combined 65+ years of tax preparing experience, they’re bringing serious know-how to help folks out.

You can pick up your 2023 tax packets at the Henryetta Library, or either of the First Family Federal Credit Union locations in Henryetta. They’re offering this service, free of charge, every Wednesday from Feb. 7th to April 10th. You can drop your packets off between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you have any questions concerning your packet or eligibility, please call 918-268-8676 and leave a message.

Last year’s results are pictured to the left, along with the certified volunteers. Of those volunteers, Amber Pippin and Gayle Jackson are both celebrating five years of volunteerism with AARP.

Below are comments received last year from community members: “Good, very fast; knowledgeable; friendly; quick; great work; helpful; will recommend to others; very satisfied, very trustful; easy to get done; workers are nice; extremely appreciated; very impressed; competent; answered my questions; good service; very professional and polite; explained very well; efficient; FREE; Credit Union has always done me right; All for free, done the same day; explained in layman’s terms; great Customer service; RESPECTFUL; Awesome.
