Allen Ray McDowell

October 29, 1928 – January 16, 2024

Allen Ray McDowell was born October 29, 1928, in Morris to the late Homer Allen McDowell and Gertrude Isbel (Bowen) McDowell. Ray passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Twin Hills Baptist Church, with Revs. Steve Treagesser and Jeff Ward officiating. A committal service will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, at Imperial Cemetery in Imperial, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris.
