The visitors took the final quarter by a 13-12 mar- gin to walk away with the 48-43 victory and even their season record at 5-5.

Rylee Youngblood led the way offensively for the Lady Demons, finishing with a team-high 17 points. The freshman guard was joined in double figures by Kamya Stallings with 13 and Konner Stanton with 10. Destiny Clay rounded out the Beggs scoring on Tuesday with an 8-point performance.

In the nightcap, the Demons trailed 18-13 after one quarter of action, then took the high-scoring second period by a slim 22-20 margin to go into the intermission down three, 38-35.

The host Ponies extended their lead to double digits – 57-47 with a 19-12 advantage in the third quarter, then outscored the visitors 14-11 in the final frame to hand the Demons the 71-58 defeat.
