Marsha Ann (Cheek) Schultz

December 30, 1940 – December 14, 2023

Marsha Ann (Cheek) Schultz went to her Heavenly Father on December 14, 2023. Marsha was born in Tulsa on December 30, 1940, to G.H. and Mary Cheek. The youngest of two children, she graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1959 before enrolling at Oklahoma State University. She met her husband of 62 years, Bob Schultz, while both working at Sears.

With the birth of their first son, Marsha became a stay at home mom. She was active as a home room mother, and served as Cub Scout Den mother for both her sons. Both boys achieved the rank of Eagle Scouts which she was very proud of.

She rejoined the workforce when the boys were old enough to attend school, accepting employment with Broken Arrow Public Schools. After moving to Morris, she was employed at Morris Elementary School. After retiring from there after 20 years, she worked part time as a teller at Morris State Bank.

Marsha was active in many volunteer capacities, serving in leadership roles with her church, band parents, and scouting. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi service sorority, as well as the Dahlia Flower Club.

She was quick with a smile and compliment. She stood firm for honesty, truth and fairness. She was a positive force for her family and community.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Margarette. She is survived by her husband, Bob; stepdaughter Donna Rudick; her sons Bobby and Larry; grandchildren, many relatives and a host of friends.
