Action Election |

Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc. will hold an election for a Low-Income Representative Monday, Nov. 20, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Senior Nutrition Center, 1021 N. Seminole St. in Okmulgee.

Hoffman Thanksgiving Dinner | Hoffman Fellowship will serve a Thanksgiving Dinner Thursday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m.

Last Stop Christmas Shop Craft Fair | The 2nd annual Last Stop Christmas Shop Craft Fair will take place Friday and Saturday, Dec. 8-9, at the Okmulgee First United Methodist Church Rowe Family Life Center on W. 8th St. between Seminole and Okmulgee. The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

EODD Utility Assistance | Utility Assistance is available at EODD Area Agency on Aging to seniors ages 55+. If you live in Adair, Cherokee, McIntosh, Okmulgee, Sequoyah or Wagoner County, call 918682-7891 and ask for the Masonic Grant Application. One service is available every two years.

Henryetta VFW Post 539 Meetings | VFW Post 539 meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The post is located on S. C Street just north of the football field.

FCC Food Pantry | Henryetta First Christian Church, 412 N. 5th Street, hosts a Food Pantry at 10 a.m. the last Saturday of each month.

American Legion Post 85 Meetings | American Legion Post 85, 601 E. Frisco Ave. in Henryetta, meets the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Call 918-652-9421 between 3 and 8 p.m. for info.

Free Tax Filing | Free Federal/ State Tax Filing is available at www.dfcaf.org.

Elderly Nutrition Meals | MC Nutrition Services, 211 S. 11th St. in Henryetta, provides meals to those aged 60+ Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a $1.50 donation. All senior citizens in the community are encouraged to join in a nutritious and delicious meal. Call 918-652-3086 for more information.

Angels in Recovery | Angels in Recovery, a support group for women fighting with addiction, meets Fridays at 7 p.m. in the Youth Building of Henryetta Nazarene Church, located on the corner of 7th & Trudgeon. Win your battle!

Worn Flags Sought | Henryetta VFW Post 539 is collecting used and worn flags to be properly disposed of during a flag retirement ceremony. Flags can be dropped off at The Briefcase. Call Commander Bill Goodner at 918-510-1727 for more info.

Community Breakfast | Tulledega Masonic Lodge No. 201 in Henryetta hosts a Community Breakfast the third Saturday of each month from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Lodge, 402 E. Trudgeon. Admission is $8 per person.

NA Recovery Group | Henryetta Nazarene’s New Life Recovery Group hosts NA meetings Thursday nights at 7 p.m. in the church’s Youth Building, 7th & Trudgeon. Meetings are open to anyone struggling with addiction or family members of those struggling with addiction.
