Salvation Army Christmas Food Assistance | The Salvation Army will take applications for those in need of food assistance for Christmas through Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 111 E. 8th St. in Okmulgee.

VFW Flag Fundraiser | VFW Post 539 in Henryetta will hold a flag fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both doors at Walmart and Homeland in Henryetta. The flags hanging up down Main Street in Henryetta are purchased and maintained by VFW Post 539. Thank you for your support of veterans and the VFW.

November 14

A Salute to Our Veterans | Dewar Public Schools will hold A Salute to Our Veterans Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 8:30 a.m. at Dewar First Baptist Church. A breakfast for veterans will be served immediately following the program. The event is sponsored by Dewar Student Council.

County Republicans | Okmulgee County Republicans will meet Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are open to all registered Republicans.

Prairie Bell OHCE Christmas Craft Show | The Prairie Bell OHCE Christmas Craft Show returns Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Morris High School Gym. The show will feature a variety of booths with unique items for sale.

Deep Fork Community Action Election | Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc. will hold an election for a Low-Income Representative Monday, Nov. 20, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Senior Nutrition Center, 1021 N. Seminole St. in Okmulgee.

November 25 Cookie Crawl | The Okmulgee Times Cookie Crawl will take place Saturday, Nov. 25, throughout downtown Okmulgee. Participating businesses will be announced in the Friday, Nov. 24, edition of the Okmulgee Times. See upcoming editions of the Okmulgee Times for more information.
