Monster Mash Block Party is Saturday

Henryetta Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the first ever Monster Mash Block Party this Saturday, Oct. 28, on Main Street.

Henryetta Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the first ever Monster Mash Block Party this Saturday, Oct. 28, on Main Street.

According to Chamber Executive Director Genny Mooney, there is no admission to join in the fun, but donations of non-perishable food items will be appreciated to support local food banks.

Events planned during the evening from 6-9 p.m. include:

• Live DJ

• Carnival Games

• Hay Maze - with straw bales provided by Dixon Farms.

• Henryetta High School Band with carnival games

• Cake Walk by Little House (Girl Scouts)

• Face Painting by the Henryetta Lions Club

• Food and Craft Vendors Mooney encourages attendees to come in costume for a chance to win a prize. You can also bring a carved or decorated pumpkin that can also be entered to win a prize.

In the event of rain, most of the activities will be moved inside the Henryetta Civic Center.

As the Halloween festivities continue, the annual Trick or Treat on Main Street will be held on Oct. 31, from 3:30-5 p.m. in downtown Henryetta.

Main Street • Downtown Beggs Saturday, Oct. 28 • 5-8 p.m.

Hotdogs, face painting and lots of candy. Following the event, a City Christmas Tree lighting will take place.

--- Natura Baptist Fall Festival 7995 N. 250 Rd. • Beggs Free Fall Festival

Saturday, Oct. 28 • 4-6 p.m.

Come enjoy some fun and games, candy, hotdogs and a cake walk at the church.

--- Kick or Treat

Muscogee Nation Omniplex • Okmulgee Saturday, Oct. 28 • 1-5 p.m.

Free candy, inflatables, hotdogs, drinks, costume contest, vendor booths & trucks and live entertainment.

Beggs Movies on Main Downtown Beggs Saturday, Oct. 28 • 7 p.m.

Beggs Movies on Main will feature a public screening of “Hotel Transylvania - Transformia” Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. in downtown Beggs.

Petting zoo, pony cart rides, pumpkin painting, hayride, snacks, Cowgirl’s Grill & Sosa’s Tacos. Continues through Oct. 31 (1-4 p.m. Sundays).

A Haunted House geared towards younger audiences will be available from 6-8 p.m. (parental guidance recommended). From 8 p.m. to midnight, the full haunted house experience will be ready, so enter at your own risk! No children under 16 may be left unattended.
