Calvin Warren Crandell, a resident of Henryetta passed away, Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Henryetta at the age of 68. He was born May 19, 1955, in Henryetta to Everett Crandell and Betty (Smock) Crandell.
Calvin worked for Rural Electric Cooperative (REC) as a lineman supervisor for many years. He was baptized in the old Dewar Baptist Church. He married Rhonda Quinton, August 17, 1978, in Dewar.
He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Crandell; and a sister, Scarlet Crawford; also a brother-inlaw, John Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda of the home; a son, Roy Travis Crandell and Aimee Nuckolls of Tulsa; a daughter, Leta Stanley & husband Lucas of Okmulgee; three grandchildren, Maddox Calvin, Baker Owen, and Reagan Harper who is on the way; his mother, Betty Crandell of Henryetta; asister, Marie Mason May 19, 1955 – October 14, 2023
of Henryetta; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Shane Crawford, Sprint Williams, Chase Williams, Jason Larney, Rush Williams and Shane Baldridge. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jerry Quinton, Rick Collins, Jimmy Qualls, Kenny Bevan, Kenny Hamon, Bobby Murrell, Dusty Crawford, Tommy Crandell, Norman Cummings, and Gary Quinton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in Integrity Chapel, with Rev. Steve Treagesser officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
