Fundraiser Night |
Dewar Student Council will hold a fundraiser night at Shoney’s Monday, Oct. 16, from 5-8 p.m. Shoney’s will donate a portion of their total sales from the entire day, so come eat any time to support the Dewar students.

Luther’s Oktoberfest |
Tickets are available for Luther’s Oktoberfest, a family event which will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, from 5-8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. 6th St. in Okmulgee. Attendees will be able to enjoy craft beer, a variety of German food and events for both children and adults. The PolkaMeisters Oompah band will perform, and attendees will be able to enjoy the Chicken Dance. Bring the whole family and friends. Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for children 6-14 and children 5 and under are free. Reserved tables for eight people are also available for $140. Call 918-756-6046 or stop by the church to purchase
