Patsy Lee Rae

June 1, 1934 – September 11, 2023

Patsy Lee Rae, also known as Pat, passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 89 in Okmulgee. She was born on June 1, 1934, in Henryetta to her parents, Lewis and Geraldine Hardgrave.

Pat was a loving, kind, and sassy individual who was set in her ways. She cherished spending time with her family and was known for her warm personality. Pat is survived by her children Colin Rae III and Lucy Cardona of Okmulgee, Lisa James of Tulsa and Kelly and Leroy Brooks of Morris. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Heather Dickey, Courtney Remington, Kyle Brooks, Rae Ann Cable, Cole James, Erin Baker, Nathan Fabian, Honore’ Perez, Colin Rae IV, Rocki Rae, Ryder Rae and Bracen James; her great-grandchildren, Jillian Remington, Jaxon Remington, Camden Remington, Cora Remington, Kyan Brooks, Kase Brooks, Alyssa Dickey, Savanna Cable, Kayde Cable, Bodie Baker, Abby Fabian, Aubrey Fabian, Ariah Fabian and Ruka Perez; and her brother, Ragen Hardgrave and wife Carol of Texas.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Colin; her parents, sister Francis Turner and a brother Richard Hardgrave.

In her educational journey, Pat attended Henryetta primary school and high school. She furthered her education at OSUIT.

Throughout her career, Pat worked diligently for Dr. Hubbard from 1961 to 1974 and later for Dr. Alexander from 1983 to 2012. She dedicated herself to her profession and worked full-time until the remarkable age of 80.

Pat had a passion for shopping and cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. She found joy in these hobbies and made lasting memories with her family.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023, at Henryetta First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dale Huckabay officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.

In memory of Patsy Lee Rae, her loving spirit and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
