Back-to-School Prayer Walk | The Okmulgee County Back-to-School Prayer Walk will take place Saturday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. at Okmulgee High School’s Brock Gymnasium. Participants will gather for a meet and greet from 9-9:30 a.m. before traveling to various schools around the county.
7 Hills Music Festival |
The 7 Hills Music Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, from 4-10 p.m. at Nichols Park in Henryetta. Gates open at 3 p.m. and featured guests include Drew Baldridge, Showdown, One Nation, Lance Gouge and The Brent Giddens Band. The festival will include family fun activities, vendors, food and more. Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the gate, and children 12 and under get in free with an adult ticket holder.
August 11-12 Roy LeBlanc Invitational Rodeo | The Roy LeBlanc Invitational Rodeo returns to Okmulgee Aug. 11-12 at 8 p.m. each night at the Bob Arrington Arena at the Muscogee Nation Claude Cox Omniplex. The annual parade will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at 4 p.m. in downtown Okmulgee. September 29-30 Dewar All-School Reunion | The Dewar All-School Reunion will be held Friday, Sept. 29, with a mixer in the school cafeteria at 5 p.m. and the Dewar High School football game to follow at 7 p.m. Both are free to Dewar Alumni. A dinner will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at Dewar First Baptist Church. The meal will be served at 7 p.m. and tickets are $25 (ages 80+ are free).
