Tickets are available for the annual Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Roy Madden Spring Round Up Rodeo, this weekend at the Jim Shoulders Living Legends Arena sponsored by First Family Federal Credit Union, at Nichols Parks.

The rodeo (June 2-3) begins each day at 8 p.m. and tickets are available. Adults are $10, children 6-12 are $5, and those under age 5 are free to enter.

This year, attendees are able to get their tickets in advance at rodeoticket. com, and look for the Henryetta events section, and actually print out the tickets, which will be scanned at the gate. https://www.rodeoticket.com/ find.../oklahoma/henryetta.

Also for added convenience, attendees can also scan the accompanying QR code which will take them to the website to purchase tickets. Tickets can be paid with a bank or credit card also.

Rodeo Committee chairs are Mark and Tammie Hiatt. The late Roy Madden, Chamber Director for many years, was instrumental in getting Henryetta known for its rodeos, and after his passing, the June rodeo was named in his honor.

Kicking off the rodeo each night will be the Mutton Bustin for ages 8 and under, which begins at 7 p.m. The weight limit is 60 lbs.

Ward Rodeo Company of Coalgate will once again be the stock contractor. Terry Ward is the manager of the company. There will be breakaway roping for the females along with barrel racing; along with Jr. Barrel Riding and Jr. Bull Riding.

There is plenty of free parking and lots of seating for the events. Top cowboys and cowgirls from around the nation compete in the various events ranging from bronc riding to barrel racing, bull riding to calf roping.
