New organization seeking members

HYPE will hold a launch event tomorrow as the new organization seeks members, along with new and fresh ideas to help the city grow in all aspects.

Executive Director April Mason and Associate Director Michelle Genova were in attendance at Monday’s Chamber meeting held at Shoney’s.

The launch meetings are set for 12-1 p.m. or 6-7 p.m. at Rustler’s Restaurant.

Both meetings will be identical in presentation and will only vary in those attending. There are two times to make sure everyone has a chance to attend.

What is HYPE? “Henryetta Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs is an independent community-based organization committed to cultivating, motivating, and activating the young professional population of Henryetta. We welcome the next generation of Henryettans who are looking for a place to grow personally and professionally, and are excited about helping Henryetta grow too!”

Attendees are urged to bring ideas on what you would like to see the organization accomplish, such as Networking, Professional Development and Community Service.

As a charter member of HYPE, young members have the opportunity to help shape this organization into the best version, not only for themselves, but for the entire community.

Those attending either event may order lunch or dinner on an individual basis. A special thanks was given to Steve Sanford and Rustler’s for hosting the launch event.
