The District 7 Convention was held April 29, in Henryetta, at the American Legion building.
The District 7 Convention was held April 29, in Henryetta, at the American Legion building.
The joint meeting began at 11 a.m. with the Henryetta VFW and Auxiliary #539 hosting the District Luncheon with a wide variety of food items to please all palates, including fried chicken, ham, turkey, pork, dressing, green beans, potato salad, macaroni salads, hot rolls, Tiramisu, pecan pie, cherry cheesecake, brownies, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. The meal was enjoyed by all.
The convention consisted of nominating, voting and installing new officers for the ensuing year.
