Journey Through Health |
OSU Extension will present a free class for senior residents called Journey Through Health Wednesday, April 19, from 10-11:15 a.m. at the Senior Nutrition Center in Henryetta. The class is held once a month and covers different parts of the body and how to keep yourself healthy. Exercise classes for the elderly will be introduced soon. St. Michael Catholic Church will hold a Spaghetti Dinner Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be hosted by the Altar Society and Fr. Robert Duck, and will feature spaghetti and a meatball, salad, bread, refreshment and dessert for $10 for adults and $3 for children under 6. Additional meatballs cost $1 each. Medication Take-Back Event | A Medication Take-Back Event will be held Wednesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the OSUIT Student Union parking lot. Bring any unused or expired medications for safe and anonymous disposal. The event is a partnership of OSUIT, OSUIT Police Department, OSU Department of Wellness and the Okmulgee County Consortium, and is funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.
April 28-29 Clue | Okmulgee Community Theatre will perform “Clue,” a comedy involving murder on stage and ‘who did it’ at the Orpheum Theatre, 210 W. 7th St. Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 and children 12 and under is $5.

Golf Tournament Fundraiser | Golf Tournament Fundraiser | The Okmulgee Masonic Lodge #199 & Okmulgee- Okfuskee County Youth Services Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, April 29, at the Henryetta Golf & Country Club. Entry fee is $60 per person for the 4-Man Scramble and includes a cart, green fees and lunch. Tee time is at 8:30 a.m. and entry is limited to the first 16 teams.
