The following information was provided this week by new City Manager Ron Casey on the city’s Facebook page: Immediate needs and actions being worked on: 1. First and foremost, we have to have water to the hill and a water storage tank to limit water loss.
2. We have been working on funding for widening and paving Main Street from the Y on West Main to Dewey Bartlett for safer access to the hospital.
3. We have a lot of amazing employees with a lot of to-do lists, and with limited staffing, it may seem like we are behind on water leaks, but we have a list of severity yet our water loss is still minimal across the city.
4. I have an open door policy. I am willing to talk to anyone & answer any or all questions you all may have!
