A Tulsa man was killed in a single vehicle accident Saturday afternoon near Beggs.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported the fatality collision happened at 3:57 p.m. on Hwy. 16, about five miles west of the Beggs city limits.
The victim was a 57-yearold man from Tulsa, who was pronounced at the scene by a member of the Okmulgee EMS.
The victim was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 16 when his vehicle left the road to the right, struck a fence and rolled one time before the car rested back on its tires.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the OHP. Assisting at the scene was the Okmulgee County Sheriff ’s Department, Okmulgee EMS and Beggs Fire Department.
The weather was reportedly clear at the time of the crash.
