After a combined 75 years of dedicated service to First National Bank & Trust (FNB), Judy Stidman and Sharla Stephenson announced their retirement, effective Dec. 30, 2022.
Stidman celebrated 40 years of service while Stephenson celebrated 35 years of service.
On May 17, 1982, Stidman began her career at the bank as an Administrative Assistant and was later promoted to Vice President of Operations at the Henryetta location.
Throughout the years, her dedication not only to the bank but to the community was evident as she served on a multitude of boards, committees and organizations including, most recently, the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce and the Henryetta Lions Club.
“While at FNB, Judy was known for her superior customer service, vast banking operations knowledge and always going above and beyond for her customers,” her colleagues said. “Her decades of success and impact were significant to FNB, as she filled a huge void in the Henryetta branch and ensured the bank’s con- tinued success in the community. We are sad to see her go, but we’re happy she’ll have the time to spend with family and friends.”
Stephenson began her career at FNB on Jan. 13, 1987 as a Teller, also having served on a variety of local boards and committees over the years. She retired as Marketing Officer for the bank.
“Sharla’s unwavering commitment to the bank and the community during her tenure will leave a lasting positive impact on the bank and community alike,” colleagues announced. “She worked in various roles where she excelled into her current role. Not only did Sharla complete the necessary marketing and communications tasks, but she also supported our employees whenever and wherever she was needed.”
She currently serves as the Pastor of Friendship Nazarene Church in Stuart.
Stephenson and husband, Terry, have one daughter and several grandchildren.
Her retirement plans include reading, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
“Judy and Sharla will be greatly missed,” Kyle Powell, FNB President and Chief Executive Officer, said. “Sharla has been an absolute rock within the organization and has ensured that our markets had outstanding marketing support and guidance. We were so fortunate to have someone with Judy’s experience, dedication and understanding of the Henryetta market and operations knowledge with us for decades. I wish both Sharla and Judy a happy retirement.”
