Funeral services were held for Minnie Ruth Proctor, 71, a resident of Dewar on Dec. 30 at Yardeka Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Gambler and Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating.
Interment followed at the Yardeka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Proctor was born April 16, 1951 to Jackson and Rosie Mae (Fry) Bruner and died Dec. 26 in Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Patsy Frank and Ella “Chick” Hill.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bill, of the home; two sons, Brian Proctor and wife Shannon of Checotah and Byran Proctor and wife Twainna of Dewar; one daughter, Billie Proctor and Paul Harjochee of Henryetta; sisters, Nellie Lasley, Cinda Bruner and Wanda Bruner of Henryetta and Emma Wind of Oklahoma City; mother-in-law, Lena Proctor of Dustin; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Services were under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
