HES October Students of the Month named

Henryetta Elementary School (HES) recently announced six Students of the Month for October in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Henryetta Elementary School (HES) recently announced six Students of the Month for October in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Honorees include Judson Bowen, Kindergarten; Kooper Hargis, 1st Grade; Zoey Winn, 2nd Grade; Conner Hardgrave, 3rd Grade; Rex Clason, 4th Grade and Ryleigh Collett, 5th Grade.

A brief biography about each student is as follows:

• Judson Bowen – A student in Mrs. Smith’s Kindergarten class, Judson’s favorite thing about school is playing on the playground. He loves to play golf and play with Nerf guns. This year, Judson hopes to learn how to read. When he grows up, he wants to become a chef and own a business. His favorite thing about being a Knight is “playing at football games and watching sports!”

 

• Kooper Hargis – Kooper is a student in Mrs. Glover’s 1st Grade class. Math and recess are her favorite things about school. Her hobbies include cheer and trampolines. This year, Kooper hopes to be a scientist. When she grows up, she wants to become a Nurse. Her favorite thing about being a Knight is “being a cheerleader.”

 

• Zoey Winn – A 2nd Grade student in Mrs. Dozier’s class, Zoey’s favorite thing about school is Math. Her hobbies include listening to music and skating. This year, she hopes to do gymnastics. Zoey wants to become a teacher when she grows up. Her favorite thing about being a Knight is her friends.

 

• Conner Hardgrave – Conner is a 3rd Grade student in Mrs. Lee’s class. His favorite things about school are lunch, recess and specials. His hobbies include football, soccer, basketball, playing with friends, video games and drawing funny pictures. This year, he hopes to get good grades, make friends and avoid the principal’s office. His favorite thing about being a Knight is “the friends I have and the nice teachers.”

 

• Rex Clason – A student in Mrs. DeBock’s 4th Grade class, Rex’s favorite thing about school is Science. His hobbies include football, gaming and movies. This year, he hopes to get no detentions. His favorite thing about being a Knight is playing football with his teammates.

 

• Ryleigh Collett – Ryleigh is a 5th Grade student in Mrs. James’ class. Her favorite things about school are recess and seeing her friends. Her hobbies are drawing, coloring and basketball. This year, Ryleigh hopes to give respect, be good and not to ever get detention. Her favorite thing about being a Knight is being a good student, Student of the Month and having good grades.
