What are the top three messages of your campaign?
I will fight for the capitol to become accountable to all taxpayers for every dollar spent.
I will prevent legislators from handing Public Education money to private businesses.
I will fight backroom deals and will require checks and balances before funds can be disbursed.
What are the top three most pressing issues facing rural Oklahoma? How would you address these issues if elected?
1. PROTECT OUR CHILDREN by making sure our law makers don’t hand Public Education Money to private businesses.
2. SAFEGUARD OUR TAXPAYERS’ MONEY by preventing backroom deals.
3. BRING NATIVE AMERICANS BACK TO THE TABLE, which will translate into a better economy for all of us. Viewing Oklahoma’s 39 tribal nations as partners rather than obstacles will be the first step.
Explain your positions on economic development as it pertains to rural Oklahoma in general and Eastern Oklahoma in particular.
GROW A STRONG ECONOMY by focusing on long-term investments rather than short-term band-aids. Our children and our small businesses deserve it!
REUNITE OKLAHOMANS WITH THEIR MONEY by more seriously managing their Unclaimed Property funds. If the state is able to find Oklahomans who owe taxes, shouldn’t it be able to find people to whom it owes money? Facebook searches, data research, and hands-on assistance to our citizens at county fairs are some of the ways we can help bring that money back in the hands of Oklahomans.
