Henryetta Municipal Authority (HMA) approved the purchase of a trailermounted jetter for the Sewer Department during a brief meeting on Tuesday evening.
Henryetta Municipal Authority (HMA) approved the purchase of a trailermounted jetter for the Sewer Department during a brief meeting on Tuesday evening.
The lowest bid of $77,000 from Key Equipment was approved for the jetter. To help with purchase, a $10,000 grant was received by the department from OMAG.
Myers Engineering recommended approving a bid from Orr Construction for water main replacement near the railroad on Corporation Street to Nelson Avenue. The total bid was $876,428.
“This is for the main line that feeds water to the tower on top of the hill,” Jennifer Munholland, HMA Board Member said.
Other agenda items approved included:
• Consent Agenda items consisting of financial reports, minutes of a meeting and claims for the month of September.
• $37,962.14 monthly payment to Oklahoma Water Resources Board.
There was no new business presented and the meeting adjourned.
HMA Board members in attendance were Jennifer Munholland, Michael Dickey and Janna Duggan. Shannon Scott and Christy Jeffcoat were unable to attend.
