Henryetta Free-Lance is now accepting nominations for 2022 Henryettan of the Year (HOTY).

Henryetta Free-Lance is now accepting nominations for 2022 Henryettan of the Year (HOTY).

Since 1949, Henryetta Free-Lance has sponsored this annual event.

Each year, an exceptional citizen is awarded the unique honor of being named Henryettan of the Year.

Nominees must be residents of Henryetta who have volunteered to provide positive improvements in Henryetta during 2022.

Everyone is asked to consider volunteer efforts during 2022 in order to help make nominations.

Past volunteer work can also be included in nomination letters.

Nomination letters are due at the Henryetta Free-Lance office no later than Friday, Dec. 30.

Winner of this special award will be announced at the beginning of the new year.

When making your nominations, please include a list of all the reasons why you think your nominee has gone above and beyond in 2022 and should be awarded Henryettan of the Year.

Nomination letters can be dropped off or mailed to the Free-Lance office at 302 W. Main, Henryetta, OK 74437 or sent via email to: tracy@cookson.news.
