Funeral services will be held for Norma Dean Tipton, 97, on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Integrity Funeral Home in Henryetta with Rev. Terry Cossey officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
Mrs. Tipton was born May 25, 1925 to Mable and John Boyd in Okmulgee and died Sept. 12.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tom Tipton; sisters, Daisy Smith and Velma Rineheart and brothers, Mose, Jack, Harold and John Boyd.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy Tipton of Dallas, Texas; son, Steve Tipton and wife Peggy of Shawnee; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Tipton of Lusby, Md.; grandsons, Matt Tipton and wife Brook of Oklahoma City, Jonathan Tipton of Lusby, Md. and Sam Tipton of Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Stacey Paulinho of Denver, Colo.; sister-in-laws, Earline Boyd of Sun City, Ariz. and Ruth Boyd of Prescott, Ariz.; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
