A celebration of life dinner for Eldon Wallace Overson, 75, a resident of Henryetta, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 85 in Henryetta and to sign his guest book. Interment will be held at a later date in Minnesota with military honors.
Mr. Overson was born July 16, 1943 in Ponca, Neb. to Eldo Overson and Margaret (Pansegrau) Overson and died Aug. 24 in Muskogee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest son, Paul Overson.
Survivors include his son, Gary Overson and wife Sara Kaler of Henryetta; two brothers, Steve Overson and wife Sharon of Gaylord, Minn. and Mark Overson of Gaylord, Minn.; his home companion, Betty Patterson and son, Chris Patterson; the mother of his children, Geraldine Overson of Boy River, Minn.; grandson, Will Kaler and wife Nikki of Henryetta; granddaughter, Dana Kaler of Oklahoma City; great granddaughter, Kenleigh Kaler; great grandson, Cole Kaler; a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements and cremation services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
