The body of David D. Duvall, 66, of Henryetta was recovered in Lake Eufaula at Gentry Creek Park on Tuesday morning by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Marine Enforcement Division.

According to a drowning incident report from investigating OHP Trooper Scott Lee, at 3:23 p.m. on Monday, authorities were notified of an abandoned boat in the water and a pickup parked at the boat ramp with the trailer in the water.
The boat was located approximately 1.8 miles from the boat ramp.
On Tuesday at 6:11 a.m., the body of Duvall was recovered 182 yards northwest of the boat ramp and 86 yards east of the shore line in seven feet of water.
The report states Duvall was not wearing any type of personal flotation device.
He was transported to a funeral home in Checotah.
Assisting with the investigation and recovery were Trooper Mark Benedict and Trooper Trey Downum of the OHP Marine Enforcement Division of Troop W.
