Okmulgee County is currently updating their FEMA Hazard Mitigation Plan. Input from the public is needed and the community is invited to attend a public meeting next week.
According to Okmulgee County Emergency Management Director Tim Craighton, the public meeting for the Okmulgee County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update will be held Aug. 2, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the OSUIT Student Union on East 1st Street. Attendees should use OSUIT’s 4th Street exit to get to the building.
