Okmulgee County Treasurer Vonna Lampkins recently announced there will be a property sale on Monday, Aug. 29 at 9 a.m. at the Okmulgee County Fairgrounds.
Okmulgee County Treasurer Vonna Lampkins recently announced there will be a property sale on Monday, Aug. 29 at 9 a.m. at the Okmulgee County Fairgrounds.
According to Lampkins, there will be 20 tracts, parcels or lots of land situated inside Okmulgee County that will be up for auction. The cost for a property list is $10.
“It is your responsibility to do a visual inspection of the properties before you come to the sale,” Lampkins said, “but you are not allowed on the properties.”
At the sale, only cash or a certified check will be accepted. No personal checks will be accepted unless a "Letter of Credit" from the buyer’s financial institution is attached or filed with the treasurer before the sale date.
“All sales are final,” Lampkins said. “This is an opportunity to increase the size of your tracts, parcels or lots if your property adjoins any of the properties on this list.”
