A man arrested in early April on Drug, Stolen Vehicle and Firearms Possession has been arrested again and faces even more charges.
During the April 4 arrest, Bobby Shane Thomas, 46, of Okemah, along with another subject, were arrested after they were stopped by a Henryetta Police Department (HPD) officer.
During a check of the vehicle the men were towing, it was found to be stolen out of Muskogee.
During that incident, a search of the vehicle revealed drugs including meth (more than 40 grams), marijuana, pills, cocaine and heroin, along with a handgun, the court record stated.
Thomas was released on bond, with a court appearance in May, however, that hearing was reset for July 12.
Last week, Thomas was arrested again in Henryetta.
According to court records, an HPD officer was patrolling on June 1 at 2:37 a.m. in an area on Trudgeon, when he saw a vehicle pull into the parking lot of Glenpool Wrecker. Since the business was closed, the officer asked dispatch to obtain information on the car tag.
The officer made contact with the driver, identified as Bobby Shane Thomas. A return on the car tag advised the officer that the number belonged to a 1997 Ford, however, the vehicle Thomas was driving was a Chevy Tahoe.
A check of the vehicle identification number showed it belonged to a Chevy Suburban.
As the investigation continued, the officer spotted a large bag containing marijuana, the record stated.
After Thomas was detained, a search of the vehicle yielded more drugs including crystal meth, cocaine and pills.
The vehicle was impounded and Thomas was taken to the Okmulgee County Jail.
