It’s rodeo time in Henryetta!
Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Rodeo Committee Co-Chair Tammie Hiatt announced the Roy Madden Spring Roundup Rodeo starts tonight-Friday with Mutton Bustin at 7 p.m.
The two-night rodeo event will be held at the Jim Shoulders Living Legends Arena at Nichols Park in Henryetta.
“There will be extra added money for the spring rodeo,” Hiatt said. “I think bronc riding is my favorite of the events. I welcome all rodeo lovers out to watch all the exciting events on Friday and Saturday nights.”
Nightly admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for children ages six to 12. Ages five and under will be admitted for free.
The overwhelmingly popular Mutton Bustin’ event begins at 7 p.m. nightly and is open to children ages eight and under. The weight limit is 60 pounds.
